Sub-Zero Service Center is an independent repair service based in Wilmington, focused on the premium built-in appliances found in many South Bay and Harbor-area kitchens. Most of our work centers on Sub-Zero refrigeration: built-in and column refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, and wine storage. We also service Viking, Wolf, and Thermador cooking and cleaning appliances. These machines are designed to be repaired rather than thrown away, but they are built differently from standard models, with dual refrigeration systems, sealed burners, convection fans, and electronic controls that need careful testing. When we arrive, we start by confirming the symptom, recording the model and serial number, and checking the likely causes before recommending anything. Then we walk you through what we found, what the repair involves, and what your choices are, so the decision stays with you. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any appliance manufacturer. Yes. Sub-Zero refrigeration is our lead specialty, and we also repair Viking, Wolf, and Thermador ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, range hoods, dishwashers, warming drawers, microwave drawers, and outdoor grills, along with their refrigeration products.

Are you affiliated with Sub-Zero or the other brands?

No. We are an independent repair service. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Sub-Zero, Viking, Wolf, Thermador, or any other manufacturer. We work on their appliances as an outside service company.

What information should I have ready when I contact you?

The brand, the type of appliance, and a short description of the problem help most. If you can find the model and serial number, that's even better. On many built-in refrigerators the tag is inside near the top of the fresh-food section, and on ovens and ranges it's often visible when the door or drawer is open.

My Sub-Zero isn't cooling. Is there anything I should check first?

Make sure the unit has power, the temperature settings haven't been changed, and the doors are closing fully with nothing blocking the seals. If the condenser grille is blocked or dusty, that can also affect cooling. If none of that explains it, keep the doors closed as much as possible and schedule a diagnosis.

Should I repair my appliance or replace it?

It depends on the age of the unit, what failed, and the condition of the rest of the appliance. Premium built-in appliances are often worth repairing, but not always. After we diagnose the problem, we'll explain the repair and give you an honest view so you can decide.

Do you repair outdoor grills?

Yes. We work on outdoor grills, including ignition, burner, and gas-flow problems. Outdoor units face sun, salt air, and weather, so we also check for corrosion and wear that can affect how they light and heat.
